Just wanna share a little piece of news that I'm on Carousell!
For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you might have already seen the post about me being on Carousell. That's right guys, I have recently created an account to sell all my preloved items! FINALLY! An outlet that allows me to sell my items without having to incur a bigger loss by spending more money to, say, set up a physical booth to sell items that are already marked at rock bottom prices!
Okay, so yes. I might be slightly behind time or late on this Carousell bandwagon. But my recent knowledge and awareness of it was timely in a way, because I have recently just graduated. AND havent' gotten a job yet. I am also in desperate need to clear out space in my home closet to make way for the clothes that I brought back from hall. I knew that the clothing pile in my hall was ginormous. But, I didn't expect it to be that bad. *Confessions of a shopaholic* Its true guys, I even found myself explaining to the boyfriend how "I don't even know where all these clothes come from!" Reminiscent of Becky Bloomwood from the Shopaholic series written by Sophie Kinsella.
So, I have been busy using my trusty camera to snap awesome photos of my preloved items and putting it up on Carousell. So far, I have garnered a humble number of followers and am really glad that my items can sell. I have sold about 15 items to date and am so pleased and grateful that there are people willing to buy my items! For my beloved buyers,
A BIG HUGE THANK YOU!(:
Here are some pictures that I took. These items may or may not have been sold already.
I sell many items ranging from preloved clothes, old school textbooks/notes and random knick-knacks! Just whatever I feel I do not have the need for anymore! For more information about some of these products, do check out Carousell and follow me @nicesgjy !!!! (:

I did not really want to show my face that much on Carousell because I think that's such a BHB thing to do and nobody really cares about my face, but more of the clothes and its price! Hahaha. As I was taking these photos, some of these clothes or items really made me think twice about selling them. A few of them are actually BRAND NEW and I had to literally forced myself to post the pictures and put it up for sale, reasoning with the greedy, irrational inner little me that its precisely because I do not wear them, I had to let them go. *mighty sobs* Strangely, to lessen my "grief", I have taken to writing little notes on the envelopes to ask buyers to "take care of this product and to use them often". I guess I'm sentimental that way. So to my dear buyers, if you are reading this, do not find me weird. This girl here is just being her crazy sentimental self. Please buy more of my items, if you can! *bats eyelashes in an awkward attempt to persuade you*
Speaking of buyers, my transaction experiences are still pretty positive. I have not met any rude buyers face-to-face, transactions that fall through halfway, or any sort of scams yet. The key word being, YET. I do hope I do not ever get to meet any of the three aforementioned incidents. My buyers are generally nice, responsive and responsible. So thank you! (:
There are of course, occasional rude people who enquire about my items, and I generally try my best to be patient with them, plastering smiley faces to make my tone sound friendly despite their ignorant questions and unreasonable attempts to haggle prices when item's description already explicitly states "NO NEGO". Carousell really does train my patience and customer service skills. Hahahaa. And now that I think about it, its funny how all these rude enquiries never ever gave me any successful transactions before. Hmm, maybe I should learn to ignore and not entertain them in future, eh? Oh well, one thing that I learnt from my previous experiences in doing part-time sales is that any customer is a customer. So, I guess I will just continue to be nice in general to everyone! But really, there's never more satisfaction than deleting a rude enquiry. Like good riddance, I need not deal with you, rude person!
I will continue to post items on Carousell until all my preloved items are up. So do check them out before they are gone! Follow me and get a freebie from me when you choose the mailing option! I have resorted to promoting the mailing option for portable items, such as clothes and small items, because the first few items that I sold were meetups and its exhausting running to and fro meeting buyers and arranging timings where both parties are convenient to meet. I got pretty burnt out after a week of doing just that.
Anyhow, that's all that I wanted to say for now!

Loves,
Nices
